Phylocluster
Phylocluster
is a NPACI Rocks (http://www.rocksclusters.org)
cluster comprised of 1 master node with 12 slave nodes. All nodes are
dual AMD Athlons with 2 gigabytes of RAM. The internal network is comprised
of gigabit ethernet over cat 5e cable.
Phylocluster is available to members of the Center for Computational
Biology and Bioinformatics with preference given to those directly supported
through the IGERT program. To get an account on phylocluster, send an
email to Chris
Simmons (csim@cs.utexas.edu) including your name, prefered
user name, and intended usage.
Orientations and workshops on phylocluster are given a few times a
